Taken from one of Theodore Roosevelt's famous speeches, this is one of Scott Glowaski's favorite quotes. He carried it with him throughout his long career in the fire service and gave copies to every new hire. It now has newly found meaning as he struggles with a new battle. 

Scott Glowaski, a valued member of our Camano Stanwood Pickleball community is sadly battling incurable cancer.

As one of the early members of the pickleball club Scott became a strong and spirited force on the pickleball court. Winning many local tournaments, sharing countless laughs and tips and more recently providing Slam Bam Pickleball classes to help others grow their game and in turn their love for the game.

Scott has touched many, many lives and what he has brought to the local pickleball community is immeasurable. Nothing would make him more proud or happy than to see his logo spread amongst the people and community he poured his heart into. So, we've come up with a new Slam Bam Pickleball t-shirt to honor Scott as he fights his greatest battle.

Even during his darkest times and after a career as a firefighter, giving his all to saving lives and property, Scott would like to continue to give back to the community he calls home and support the future of pickleball on Camano Island. ALL PROFITS from the sale of shirts will be donated to help fund the building of the covered pickleball courts for the betterment of the club and community.
